Welcome to my company! My name is Sunny Kanda and I call myself the Diamond Specialist at KD&CO. You can also call me the CEO and Founder of this company.
First things first as a jeweler many expect me to be your average suited and booted type of guy. Realistically you’ll always catch me in casual attire, my converses and in a comfy vibe. Somehow, I get comments about this all the time so thought I’d let you know. I am 100% all about comfort and want my clients to also be comfortable when choosing KD&CO.
When not working with jewelry, you will find me binge watching Netflix shows. My favourite – Vikings, Game Of Thrones, Ozark! I am a HUGE fan of baseball! During the summer time, I enjoy playing professional softball and riding my Harley (Iron 883). I’m always up for a cruise and if you are too, hit me up!
Ok so now to the serious stuff. I’ve been in the diamonds and precious jewelry industry for almost 12 years. I had no idea that my family and our ancestors were goldsmiths – I am the third child so I don’t think anyone cared to mention it! When I did figure this out, I was curious to learn more and then the obsession became real, and here I am today. I then worked relentlessly to ensure I had the most up-to-date knowledge – I had the pleasure of learning from the best at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and having a few uncles mentor me.
I haven’t looked back ever since. My family and my existing clients know how seriously I take business and it’s all about the experience for my clients, the finances later. If the stars align and I ever have the pleasure to meet you, that would be a true honor.
